What to expect during the first meeting with the surgeon?

This instrument compares fine hair to thick ones, measuring the degree of miniaturization of your hair strands caused by shrinking hair follicles, the progressive diminishing of each hair’s diameter and length. The doctor should also explain the entire hair transplant procedure, including any associated risks, and tell you what you can expect in the months following the procedure.

What is the difference between FUT and FUE?

FUT ( follicular unit transplant) and FUE (follicular unit extraction) refers to the method of harvesting the follicles from the backside of head. In FUT, a strip of skin is removed and follicles are separated on table under direct vision by technicians whereas in FUE individual follicles are harvested from the backside of head. Method of transplanting these follicles in the bald part of head is similar in both these techniques.
